The bit straps attach to two loops on the side cheeks of the halter part of this combo with two snaps. This allows the bit and curb strap to be attached to the halter making the halter into a bridle. All of the material used in this combo is 5/8” beta material. There are adjustments on the nose, throat, crown and bit straps which allow you to get the proper fit for your animal. The nose, side cheeks, browband and crown are double-ply while the throat latch and bit straps are single-ply. Stainless steel hardware is used on the black, white and colored beta combos while solid brass is used on the brown beta combos. This hardware allows for longevity and rust resistance. The reins are a split-type rein and are 5/8” wide and 7' 0” long. They are made of matching beta material. The reins attach to the bit with a conway buckle. These curb straps come in either a Beta or a Biothane material. All of these curb straps are Amish made to the highest standards of quality. These curbs come in two sizes, small and large. The small size adjusts from 6" to 8" while the large size adjusts from 8" to 10" in length. The Beta curbs are 5/8" wide while the Biothane curbs are 3/4" wide.
