Our donkeys are double registered, receive regular vaccinations, hoof care,

worming, and the most important thing lots of love & attention.

Please know that Miniature Donkeys are not big enough to be guards for herds, and we will not sell them as such.

 If you are looking for a guard, you will need a standard size donkey.

In order to be content and happy, a donkey needs at least one buddy - preferably another donkey, as they are herd animals.

We also feel EVERY animal should have supervision and daily love and care,

so we will not sell any donkey into a situation where he will be kept alone or not part of the daily life of his home.

In Memory of Shadow Ridge Cocoa Puff  We lost our beloved Cocoa on July 31st, 2006 during foaling. She is sadly missed by me and Chris and all the donkeys. They were all gathered together around her grave the other day and we can only guess what they were feeling.

See you on the other side my sweetheart. I was with you when you were born and held you in your last hours and you died in my arms.

You trusted me with your life and I pray you understand I had to make the decision I did.  God how I miss you.
