A small family run
equine oriented mini-horse ranch
established in Benson, North Carolina, as the
Lazy
L
Ranch.
We started our ranch in 2000 with
2 horses and a dog. We have since
expanded our stock
to include more animals,
such as more horses, chickens, ducks, goats, barn cats,
and we've grown to
love our exciting lifestyle. All of our animals bond
with the entire family through our love, being cared
for, and their becoming our #1 priority. We also welcome
the opportunity to foster/adopt an equine that is in need or
without a home. Our goals are to create a relaxed
environment for the equine, make sure they're
sound, and then place them in a caring home with a new
companion.
Our background is we practice
quality ranch management and maintenance for all of our animals.
We have an excellent working relationship with our veterinarian
and farrier. Each evaluates our animals routinely
to check for normal health concerns and provide
the necessary immunizations. We feel that this is a vital
part of an effective ranch management program.
Our entire family, Ron, Sharon ,
Heather, and the granddaughters Kelcie, Sydney and Morgan are all
involved and enjoy participating in the daily operations of our
ranch. We have always enjoyed visiting with other folks to
share stories and compare notes on whatever it takes to run our
enterprise successfully. We are centrally located
in Benson, N.C. which is just south of Raleigh, N. C.
Give us a call or come out to
visit when you're in the area. We would be
pleased to meet you and let you see our mini-horse ranch, the
Lazy
L
Ranch, our pride
and joy.
