Halter is handcrafted by the Amish, please allow up to 10 days before they are
shipped.

Miniature Horse: Halter Size Charts
Every attempt has been made to ensure that the following size charts are correct for the animal listed. However, every animal varies in size and shape. For this reason we suggest that you measure your animal before ordering in order to get the right size halter for a proper fit. When getting the nose measurement measure around the animal's nose where you want the halter to rest. From this point, measure up the side of the animal's head around the
animal's ears and down the other side of the animal's head to where the nose
strap will rest. This will give you the full crown measurement. If your
measurements are between two sizes, we suggest ordering the larger size.
Because of the large number of returns (due to the wrong size) we are forced to
apply a 10% restocking fee on all returned "Amish Crafted" Halters and Headstalls.

Headstalls:
When measuring for a headstall you need two
measurements. The first is the cheek strap
measurement. To get this measurement measure from
where the cheek strap attaches to the bit, up the
side of the animals head, around its ears and down
the other side of its head to where the strap
attaches to the bit. The second measurement is the
throat latch measurement, you get this measurement
by measuring around the animals neck just behind the
ears and under the neck. The brow band measurement
is the length from one side of the animals brow to
the other side.

*Saddle
Skirting Leather: (Vegetable tanned) Moulds and
forms to seat, readily accepts tooling or embossing and oils and dyes
evenly for a beautiful, uniform appearance. Skirting leather
Ideal for: Saddles, tooled and embossed products Pictured Dark Brown and
Medium Brown.
*Natural
Strap Leather, Tooling and Molding: (Vegetable
tanned) Leather for tooling, embossing, molding, dying and oiling. Dyes
and oils are uniformly absorbed by the leather's open grain structure. A
different oil content eases molding around sharp corners. Dries to a
firm, long-lasting shape. Ideal for: Lightweight saddlery goods, personal
goods including wallets, purses and holsters. Pictured Dark Brown and
Medium Brown.

Policy:
Amish Crafted Halters
and Headstalls
PLEASE measure your
animal for the correct size before ordering.
For the correct size check the Size Charts page of this website.
Because of the large number of returns (due to the wrong size) we are forced to
apply a 10% restocking fee on all returned Amish Crafted Halters and Headstalls.
If you receive a defective item, DO NOT USE IT, or you will forfeit any
type of credit or refund. Contact us immediately for resolution. Please
follow these steps in order to ensure your return/exchange will be
granted in a timely manner. Not following these steps will FORFEIT any
type of refund/exchange.
1. ALL returns/exchanges etc. MUST include a copy of the invoice and a
RMA# on the invoice copy and on the outside of the box.
2. ALL returns/exchanges etc. MUST be shipped back to FarmTack, within
10 days of arrival.
3. ALL returns/exchanges etc. MUST have all original tags on them. The
product(s) must be free from any dirt, hair, grunge, grime etc., only
clean items will be accepted for refund or exchange.
4. ALL returns/exchanges etc. MUST be stock sized items. No custom
orders will be accepted for return or exchange.
5. Shipping back to FarmTack is the customer's responsibility. COD's are
not accepted. Returns/exchanges without RMA's will be refused. Shipping
charges are not refundable.
